Find Your Motivation to Lose Weight

Samantha found her motivation and lost 37 pounds.  Her motivations were she needed to feel energized, wear 3 clothing sizes down, learned nutrition, and she wanted to be able to run.

Before starting any weight loss program, you need to find your motivation—your strength to kick all those ifs and buts to the curb.

Ask yourself, “Why do I need to lose weight?”  If you noticed, I said “need” not “want.”  Finding your intrinsic reason of why you need to lose weight is your true motivation.

I may want a million dollars, but I need oxygen to survive.  A want is just something you can live without.  Seriously, I would love a million dollars to drop from the sky.  However, I’m living just fine without it.  However, without oxygen I would die.

Make a list of the reasons for which you need to lose weight, then read them every day to stay focused.  Once you have them firmly in your heart, shedding the pounds will be easier and you’ll be motivated to keep going strong!

Eating Free’s Weight Loss Challenge is known to increase the participants motivation!

To Do Today:

Find your motivation and write it down.  Keep that piece of paper close by so that you can look at it when you need a little boost.  Keep it up, you’re doing great!!
